Collaboration with Ruth

Haruyo Morita's last year in Australia, she lived with talented Ruth Read , fashion designer who currently based in Milan Italy. Their works were very much inspired by each other. In this corroboration, Ruth printed  her 'Soul portrait' series on to silk cotton and created  dresses.   Paintings on the wall are called 'Shift from within' .They are painted on linen with traditional Japanese painting materials (eg:Calligraphy ink, Mineral pigments, metal leaf and Japanese paper Washi.
